Rental Information

From lectures and conferences to private parties, receptions and more, Campus Martius Museum can offer you and your guests an event experience to remember. Campus Martius Museum is one of Marietta’s most valuable assets.

Let Marietta’s history create a unique experience for you and your guests. The museum provides a perfect balance of sophistication and adventure as you mingle around the Conestoga Wagon or wander through the galleries.

Steps to Facility Rental:

  1. Review the Facility Rental Guide.

  2. Fill out the Availability Request Form.

  3. Once our staff has received your request, you will be contacted to discuss your needs further.

  4. Fill out the Facility Rental Agreement.

  5. Make a deposit. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required for the rental of the Main Hall or $50 deposit for the rental of the Meeting Room. This is due within 24 hours of signing the Rental Agreement to finalize the reservation.

  6. Make final payment. After your event, you will be invoiced for the remainder of your rental.

What types of events can be hosted at Campus Martius Museum?

The museum accommodates a variety of events including business meetings, lectures, company dinners, banquets, holiday celebrations, and community gatherings in a unique historical setting.

Can I rent the Putnam House?

The Putnam House is available to rent for tours for an additional fee. We will provide a staff member or volunteer to discuss the history of the house with guests. No food or drinks are allowed in the Putnam House area.

What spaces are available for rent for private events?

Rental options for the museum include Meeting Room, Main Hall, and Full Museum. Each level is priced differently. We offer member rates and discounts for nonprofit organizations. See our Rental Guide above for more details.

Does the museum provide catering services for private events?

The museum does not provide in-house catering. You can contract with your preferred professional catering services for your event.

This depends on your rental arrangement. Guests are welcome to explore any of the exhibits within the rooms being rented.
