“Frugal Frontier Living: Scarcity, Waste, and the First Recycling Revolution”

 This immersive museum program uses Marietta’s 1788 frontier history to demonstrate how early settlers lived with minimal waste, contrasted with modern landfill systems and long-term material impact.

Ryan Holter is a Marietta resident teacher, and volunteer presenting with a shared passion in local history and a lifelong devotion to environmental education.

This event is sponsored by the Washington County Public Library, is FREE and open to the public, and will be livestreamed/recorded on our YouTube Channel @CampusMartiusMuseum
