We believe our history belongs to everyone.

The Northwest Territory Museum Society preserves and shares the stories of America's earliest western frontier, from the founding of Marietta and the Northwest Territory to the riverboats and inland waterways that carried a nation forward.

Campus Martius Museum and the Ohio River Museum are your gateway to all of it.

A large group of students and a few adults gathered in a museum exhibit hall, surrounded by historical displays and artifacts.

  • Campus Martius Museum Hours

    Monday - Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    Sunday: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

    Closed: New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

  • Friends of the Museums or Ohio History Connection Member: Free

    Adult: $10

    Students K to College (with ID): $5

    Children 5 and under (excludes groups): Free

    Active Duty Military & Veterans (with ID): $5.00

  • Free parking is available at the rear of the museum and on-street. Campus Martius Museum’s three floors of exhibits are wheelchair accessible, excluding the second floor of the Rufus Putnam House.
